KLibido has an interesting feature I'm missing in Pan: it displays the queue size. This is very interesting to quickly estimate the global remaining time (and based on this an ETA could also be computed and displayed, but that's more work to do).

The queue size does not need to take into account the already downloaded parts of the file which is being downloaded. Just summing the size of all items present in the queue would be really useful.

The ETA really is a cool idea.  I'll try to get this into 0.102.
