When data filter is used on any column, and we select one of the fields, it will show all the matching rows with that field in that column. It would be good if it shows the number of matching rows at the bottom of the page.

I like the idea, but I'm not clear where to put the information.  Possibly a tooltip ?

The information is now (temporarily) shown in the progress bar area. 

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
