Description James Henstridge 2006-06-19 06:26:56 UTC
The freedesktop.modules file includes module definitions for many of the X libraries and the xserver itself.

These are built from the /cvs/xlibs, /cvs/xserver and /cvs/xapps CVS repositories. The code in them doesn't seem to have been updated for a while, and there are newer versions in /cvs/xorg and other places.

We should probably remove the module definitions that aren't being used by the Gnome moduleset. For the ones that are being used, we should work out what the current repositories are and switch to them.

There isn't much point in maintaining a full X server module set in Gnome CVS since it would be better to act as an externally maintained module set.

Fixed in bzr and CVS now. Will see if the module removals lead to bug reports.
