Could you please follow the instructions at http://www.gnome.org/projects/totem/#bugs to gather a better backtrace? Also, the stack trace in thread 7 (the thread with the signal handler call) makes this look potentially like a duplicate of bug 342504
Looks like the good ol' "H264 crash because of too old ffmpeg". Which version of xine-lib do you have?
