From: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/49215/+index

"I have my (large) music collection properly tagged with Musicbrainz tags (mainly by virtue of Sound-Juicer).

The Musicbrainz database is constantly being improved and it would be great if users could take advantage of fixes. My tracks have direct links to the exact entry in MB (MB_TRACK_ID or something). This feature would involve downloading the newest info for the track and comparing it to what was in the file already.

Possible ways to use the feature would be:
- Adding an entry to a track's (with an MB track ID) right-click menu
- An entry in the tools menu to do this for all correctly-tagged tracks
- Download the latest info when such a tagged track is playing and display a button to update if there are differences

At the moment, if I find an error in a track's info, I fix it in MB but there is no way to update that info even though I have a direct link to its record."

Ideally this would be combined with Bug 344462.
