GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 343963
PDF color not displayed by evince
Last modified: 2006-08-28 00:43:04 UTC
Please describe the problem: I have created a PDF using pdflatex that contains color. The colors are displayed by Adobe Acrobat Reader. Evince does not display the colors. Portions of the document that are supposed to be in color are displayed in black. Steps to reproduce: Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
Created attachment 66801 [details] File containing color; evince displays black The top of this file contains the following text: Rental Application The Oakbud Company It also contains a logo in the top left. Evince displays the logo in color. However, the text should be on top of two green bars. Instead of green, evince displays these bars in black. This file was created using LaTeX.
I am using: evince-0.5.1-3 poppler-0.5.1-2
I can confirm this bug using Evince and poppler from CVS HEAD. Using the Debian Sid package, that report poppler 0.5.2 (splash) in the about dialog, the problem does not occur. I think that is a poppler-cairo bug.
Still here with cairo. Can you please transfer this bug to poppler? This looks like a bug with the PDF backend. Could you please follow these instructions to help get this bug fixed. Thank You. http://live.gnome.org/Evince/PopplerBugs#poppler
