GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 343239
Tab titles show too little information about the account
Last modified: 2018-06-29 21:05:53 UTC
If I have a complex account structure like this main - 2000 - incomes - expenses - 2001 - incomes - expenses - 2002 - incomes - expenses - 2003 - incomes - expenses when I open the 2000.incomes register I have no way to see if it is 2000.incomes or 2001.incomes or 2002.incomes or 2003.incomes, because the tab title only says incomes. Probably putting 2000.income would be bad, because the structure could have many levels, and the tab would become too wide. But we have to look for something that gives the parent accounts information. If we don't put all the parents accounts in the tab name, at least a tooltip to show when hovered with the mouse is due.

Adjusting severity.
At least the window title should give, when I'm using a register tab, the complete account name, with all the levels.
It was so in the 1.x serie

This was implemented in r15774 and will be in the 2.2 release.
