Description Jim Henderson 2006-05-16 20:26:43 UTC
Request to reimplement this feature from 0.14.x. Currently the user has to
right click the group and select "Get new headers in selected".
Comment 1 dcb 2006-07-02 19:31:26 UTC
Yes, save my keyboard. Please bring back "a" to "Get new headers in selected."

Keyboard shortcuts are important. I shouldn't need to use the mouse at all to use Pan, especially when the program is setup and all the groups that I use are subscribed to.

Comment 2 Duncan 2006-07-25 16:05:17 UTC
I'll add this here rather than new bug, along with the above, please add something for "get new headers in /subscribed/ groups", perhaps shift-a or ctrl-a. However ctrl-a is select-all on MSWindows, which pan supports, so that's not a good one (make it select-all-body?). Therefore, shift-a?

Or customized keyboard accel mapping would solve all of these type bugs. =8^)

In any case, how is an accel made visible to the user if there isn't a menu entry? Maybe an actions/groups/download submenu? Or put it in the tooltip?
Comment 3 Charles Kerr 2006-07-25 21:27:25 UTC
Jim: done.

Duncan: shift-a: done.

The whole remapping accels deal is a different ticket,
as you well know, since you filed the bug report. :)

IMO there should never be a command that doesn't have a menu entry.
