Description Sebastien Bacher 2006-05-09 22:52:54 UTC
That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/nautilus-cd-burner/+bug/43736

"Nautilus-cd-burner doesn't seem to work with SMB shares.

ISO image files on Nautilus network shares are missing "Write to Disc..." from the right-click context menu. Thus, there is no way to burn an ISO file on a network share from the GUI.

To reproduce:

1. Connect to a SMB network share from Nautilus. (Places -> Connect to Server)

2. Navigate to the ISO file on the shared folder.

3. Right-click on the file. The "Write to Disc..." option is not there.

4. Copying the file to your local hard disk and then right-clicking enables the burn option. But I have a small local hard drive... :-(
