totem (if not the selected window) is non sensible to hotkeys

That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/totem/+bug/40614 "Ttry to open a video / audio in totem and then click on another window. you'll notice that hotkeys are not working anymore (so they loose therir utility). this happens with an ASUSTeK Computer Inc. M6Ne 1.0 my hotkeys are all set in system->preferences->keyboard shortcuts"

That's a known problem. Only one application can grab capture keys for itself. Running something like Rhythmbox and Totem would create problems as both applications would try to capture those keys. It would require the ability to choose which application would get the keyboard bindings. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 311964 ***
