Description Søren Boll Overgaard 2006-04-16 19:16:50 UTC
Right clicking an article in the header pane and selecting "Add scoring rule":

Changing the selection in the first dropdown in the line named "And the article's" from "Subject" to e.g. author, does not cause the value of the text field at the end of the same line to get filled with the author of the selected article. Users are forced to enter the name manually based on the content of the header or body pane which is blocked by the "Add scoring rule" dialog window.
Comment 1 Charles Kerr 2006-05-04 21:17:56 UTC
Agreed.
Comment 2 Artur Jachacy 2006-05-12 19:29:50 UTC
What's more, scoring doesn't work for me if I change anything in the field where the subject is.
Comment 3 Charles Kerr 2006-06-15 17:59:34 UTC
Artur: that's a separate issue.
Please open another ticket for it so that we can work it out there.
Comment 4 Charles Kerr 2006-06-15 18:22:28 UTC
Søren's issue is fixed for 0.100.
Comment 5 Artur Jachacy 2006-06-20 17:20:23 UTC
Actually, looks like I was wrong. Scoring does work if I change something in that field. Rather than that, there is something wrong with scoring by the author. Probably something to do with enclosing the string with ^ and $.
Comment 6 Charles Kerr 2006-06-21 22:19:13 UTC
Artur: if you'd like to open a new bug for the Author filtering
and let me know what's wrong, maybe then it can be fixed...
