Description Vladimir Chukharev 2006-04-15 16:20:59 UTC
A possibility to do everything without a mouse can greatly improve productivity
of gnumeric for experienced users.

Please add a hotkey/menu entry to edit properties of a selected chart without
mouse. I would suggest Ctrl/Enter.

I've fixed the bindings so that the standard popup binding (F10 or the menu key) will bring up the object context menu, from there you can get to the property page.

Although there is still no way to select an object without a mouse. Any ideas on an interface for that ?

Great, thanks!

Make a list of the charts in a worksheet, including the sheet (i.e. no chart).
Ctrl/TAB and Shift/Ctrl/TAB can change the selection to next and previous
chart in the list, cycling on the first and last.

And yes, it is Bug 338615 UNCO enh Hot key to select a chart.

And one more idea, may be a bit late one.

When a chart is selected, menu item Format->Cells... is greyed out. Perhaps,
it can call property page instead?
