Description David Prieto 2006-04-13 08:55:54 UTC
Hi, sometimes I have to print large collections of images and I think the current method to do so -having to open each one of them, then go to the printing dialog- makes the user lose a lot of time.

I'd like to be able to select the files from Nautilus, then right-click on them, choose "send to" and get an option to send them to my printer. Then a print dialog would appear, like the one that comes up when you call "print" from the file dialog of the program.

This feature would allow the user to print lots of documents (20 images? 20 .pdf files? 20 .odt? all of them?) with a few clicks. How many do they need now?

Well, could anyone speak their mind about it?

I don't see this as being possible. nautilus-sendto can't be made to be able to print all those types of files, and you'd still need the ability to set the print settings for all those types.

It would be better to see this in applications directly.
