GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 337117
Nautilus window appears after saving session
Last modified: 2016-11-19 12:56:11 UTC
Please describe the problem: In Fedora Core 5, saving the session does not save the "--no-default-window" option, even though the default window was not present when the session was saved. Steps to reproduce: 1. From the System menu, select "Preferences", then "More Preferences" then "Sessions" 2. In the "Sessions Options" tab of the "Sessions" window click "Automatically save changes to session" 3. Exit (e.g., log out) and then log back in Actual results: A nautilus window appears showing the user's login directory, even though no such window was present when the session was exited. Expected results: Only the windows appearing at log-off time should re-appear upon logging back in. Does this happen every time? Yes Other information: Comparing the "~/.gnome2/sessions" file in FC5 with FC4, I noticed that the FC4 version added "--no-default-window" to the nautilus "RestartCommand" line. When I added this line to "~/.gnome2/sessions", the expected behavior was exhibited.
Most likely a nautilus bug.
