Description Islam Amer 2006-04-02 19:04:31 UTC
I added an arabic wordlist to aspell, and it works fine at the command line, but
gedit's spell checker plugin does not list the language and checks arabic input
as if it were english.

Wouldn't it be easier if the spell plugin used gtkspell , gnome-spell , or
enchant instead of aspell directly ?

Please advise if you need more info.
Thank you.

Patch to add Arabic and Arabic Egypt to the list of known languages.

Patch against 2.12.1 but should apply to 2.14

awesome, thanks for the patch. Unfortunately it cannot go in 2.14 since it adds two new translatable strings, but it will be in 2.16 for sure :)

Fine with me, I hope it'll hit the CVS soon.

Best wishes,
