GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 336422
Prefill "Name" with the last folder in path.
Last modified: 2006-05-31 18:48:59 UTC
When you create a new share, the Name property should be filled with the last directory in the share path if Name hasn't been edited yet. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open shares-admin 2. Click "Add" 3. Choose the path /etc Actual results: Name property is blank. Expected results: Name should be set to "etc".
Ubuntu bug about that: https://launchpad.net/products/gnome-system-tools/+bug/42252 "... Ubuntu Dapper beta Via right click in nautilus, or launching via shares-admin. The "Share folder" window has a "Name" text inut field, wich should default to the name of the folder you want to share. ..."
This is now fixed in cvs HEAD, thanks for the bug report :)
