Description Dave Malcolm 2006-03-29 00:42:24 UTC
Run the recorder; events are captured (current CVS dogtail).

Click on the close button of a window manager decoration. It is not logged as an event within the recorder.

I don't know of a good way to fix this. One solution is to simply accept this as a limitation of the framework.
Comment 1 Zack Cerza 2006-10-10 21:13:49 UTC
It's more of a metacity limitation, no?
Comment 2 Dave Malcolm 2006-12-07 17:57:29 UTC
Yes, it's a window manager issue.

Metacity didn't support this last time I tried. Maybe it could be fixed, but I suspect it's going to be a per-windowmanager thing.
Comment 3 Fabio Durán Verdugo 2011-02-07 06:04:24 UTC
dogtail development has been stalled and it has been unmaintained for a few
years now.
Maintainers don't have future development plan so i am closing bugs as WONTFIX.
Please feel free to reopen the bugs in future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development.
