Description Baptiste Mille-Mathias 2006-03-26 12:50:48 UTC
Open tools->Manage Certificates
Select tab "Web Sites"
Select a certificate to deleted and press button "Delete"
On the messagebox, click "Cancel" or "Ok"

Result : nothing happen.

I saw the same bug in tools->Manage Security Devices
If you click on "Load" button, then click "Cancel" nothing happen.
I didn't tested all certificate dialogs

Ubuntu bug about that: https://launchpad.net/products/epiphany-extensions/+bug/42476

"Load up the certificate manager from the tools menu, if you attempt to delete a certificate on the Web Sites tab, you'll get an empty dialog box with two buttons, both of which do nothing when clicked. You cannot control the certificates at all."
Comment 2 Runar Ingebrigtsen 2006-10-26 12:52:59 UTC
I can confirm this problem on Ubuntu Edgy. To me it's critical since I now will be blocked out of my online bank in two days. :-P
Comment 3 Sébastien Grellier 2006-12-18 21:40:21 UTC
I have the same problems with epiphany-extensions 2.16.1 in ubuntu 6.10.
Is there a WA to delete a certificate?

I leave my current employer and must remove their certificate from my computer...

Thank you!
Comment 4 Christian Persch 2007-02-26 17:44:40 UTC
I can reproduce this too, but it's unclear what's causing it.

It works on my trunk debug build, so I can't even get any hints about what's wrong...
Comment 5 Frederic Crozat 2007-05-25 12:17:13 UTC
I'm seeing the same problem with epiphany 2.18.x, build with firefox 2.0.0.3 on Mandriva Linux 2007 Spring.
Comment 6 Christian Persch 2007-05-25 12:50:14 UTC
Unfortunately I have no idea what's wrong here. Could you try to make a full debug build of gecko, and see if it a) still happens [doesn't, here :( ], and b) outputs any warnings?

Anything on the error console ?
Comment 7 Runar Ingebrigtsen 2007-11-12 16:14:23 UTC
The problem persists in Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy.
Comment 8 Matěj Cepl 2008-07-25 14:19:31 UTC
We have the same problem on Fedora -- https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=440213
Comment 9 Diego Escalante Urrelo (not reading bugmail) 2009-09-10 04:13:10 UTC
Can someone confirm with WebKit? Does it still work at least?
Comment 10 Sam Morris 2009-09-28 11:13:10 UTC
The certificate manager doesn't work at all in epiphany 2.28 (with webkit). But bug 594856 covers this, so this bug may as well be RESOLVED since it's talking about the gecko certificate manager being broken.

Closing as duplicate of bug 594856 then. Feel free to revert if you don't think it's appropriate.
