Description Sebastien Bacher 2006-03-25 12:10:04 UTC
That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/sound-juicer/+bug/34560

"I have just searched all the bug trackers I thought would be important, so I apologise if this is a duplicate.

I am an avid Musicbrainz fan and to me it is a big issue if the CD is not registered in the MB database. Because it falls back to FreeDB it is very difficult to realise that this has happened and that MB isn't being used. If I knew it was happening I would go to the site and make the association (normally the album is in the database, it is just not linked to the specific DiscID of my CD).

To let people know, I would love to see a small icon (perhaps a little purple brain with a cross over it?) in the bottom left corner. If one hovers over it, I would like to see a tooltip such as "This CD is not in the MusicBrainz database, click here to add it!". Clicking it could do the same as (I understand) the new menu item does; send you to the site with the DiscID as a parameter. Once there, the site is very good at guiding the user through the process."
