Description Georgios Kasselakis 2006-03-23 12:30:54 UTC
When unpacking a file via drag-drop on my desktop It takes some time to perform
the unpack (in /tmp I suppose) and then quite some time to ΄copy΄ the file to
the new location, this takes time and makes the user spend more time.
I suggest that the unpackaged file be renamed (from whatever temp value) and
moved, and operation which is instantaneous in most filesystems.

Seems fair, any reason for it not to be done this way?
Comment 2 Paolo Bacchilega 2006-04-04 12:35:56 UTC
