Description Sebastien Bacher 2006-03-16 22:40:35 UTC
That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/35118

"If one starts evolution using a URI similar to:
$ evolution 'calendar:///?startdate=20050601'

it should not spawn the default shell.

Patch forthcoming.
...
http://librarian.launchpad.net/1741444/evolution_default_shell_only_with_no_uris.diff
This makes

$ evolution 'calendar:///?startdate=20050601'

work and do the right thing for me."

Comment 3 Øystein Gisnås 2006-08-07 15:38:39 UTC
I can confirm too. This patch is used by Debian too and we hope it will make it into CVS before 2.8.

Please reassign to Harish.
