The most modern help file for ghex-2.8.2 is from C/ghex2.xml, which reports:

<!ENTITY appversion "2.5.2">
<!ENTITY manrevision "2.5">

Either the documentation itself needs to be updated for the latest version, or if the doc itself is actually up-to-date, someone forgot to update the version string itself didn't.

Looking closer, the other languages' help files are even more severely out-of-date:

Confirming this. I've migrated ghex to use gnome-doc-utils now, so it should be easier for the GNOME docs and i18n teams to keep this updated hopefully.
