Does not account for 'IGNORE_PREFIX' for externals

We use Doxygen to generate documentation for C++ and C toolkits; it would be very pleasant to have the 'IGNORE_PREFIX' flag working for function names and more generally externals. It seems to currently be taken into account for classes only. Thank you for this very powerful tool,

Proposed patch compiles okay for me. I haven't had time to run doxygen with the patch applied yet.

You can subscribe and participate in the new ticket in Github. You can find the corresponding Github ticket by searching for its Bugzilla ID (number) in Github.
