GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 333149
about:config conflicts with TypeAheadFind toolbar
Last modified: 2006-08-22 18:07:40 UTC
Please describe the problem: User is not able to enter anything into Filter textbox of XUL configuration tree, even if textbox is focused. Any keystroke immediately raises TypeAheadFind toolbar. Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to about:config, set accessibility.typeaheadfind.autostart to true. 2. Select Filter input textbox. 3. Try to enter any search text. Actual results: TypeAheadFind toolbar raises immediately, rendering filter input unusable. Expected results: Entering text into filter input. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information: It does not appear with usual HTML input textareas, may be some conflict with XUL widgets?
Forgot to add exact versions - Debian Sid, Galeon 2.0.1-1, libxul0d 1.8.0.1-5.
Fixed in CVS: http://mail.gnome.org/archives/cvs-commits-list/2006-March/msg01067.html
