Description Matthias Clasen 2006-03-02 13:51:14 UTC
The preference dialog of the dictionary applet doesn't let me see
the definition of the default sources. Also, doesn't it make sense to
query multiple sources ?
Comment 1 Emmanuele Bassi (:ebassi) 2006-03-02 19:39:51 UTC
the dialog for viewing/editing a dictionary source was not ready before feature/UI freeze time, but the code for handling it is already in place, and it is a target milestone for 2.16.

the other remark I don't quite understand: only one source is queried at a time. having multiple sources makes sense because not every dictionary source might have the databases I need - e.g. some dictionary servers has only the free-dict package, while others might offer translation services.

also, the ability to create a user-defined subset of databases (of a source) is another target milestone for 2.16.
