GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 333132
small preferences issues
Last modified: 2006-12-02 15:58:55 UTC
The preference dialog of the dictionary applet doesn't let me see the definition of the default sources. Also, doesn't it make sense to query multiple sources ?
the dialog for viewing/editing a dictionary source was not ready before feature/UI freeze time, but the code for handling it is already in place, and it is a target milestone for 2.16. the other remark I don't quite understand: only one source is queried at a time. having multiple sources makes sense because not every dictionary source might have the databases I need - e.g. some dictionary servers has only the free-dict package, while others might offer translation services. also, the ability to create a user-defined subset of databases (of a source) is another target milestone for 2.16.
