At current time I see no way in Pitivi to chose video input sources. I only
have one source really (the freakish test video); there's no V4L camera here.
Still, there's nowhere in Pitivi 0.9.2.2 I can see to specifically select this.

Uploading a screen shot so people stop taking this as "Oh look the Open Dialog is ugly" when I'm talking about the Save As dialog. This has been an issue multiple times and despite trying to explain to people that I'm talking about the "Browse for other folders" expander in the "Save As" dialogs, they still take hours to figure out what I'm talking about.

F. . . ignore that last thing, this bugzilla shifted me around to this bug instead of the one I was editing.

Capture is currently not implemented in PiTiVi. You can only use files as sources right now. Hopefully it shouldn't take too long to add the capture functionnality, which will of course have a way of choosing the input (camera/firewire/ximagesrc/...).

Don't me misled by the videotestsrc at startup, it's used only when nothing is selected.
