Description Corey Burger 2006-02-24 02:45:57 UTC
Running 0.10.2 on Ubuntu Dapper, with totem-gstreamer 1.13.91. File can be found at:
http://www.etc.cmu.edu/projects/bvwWorlds/movies/dragon_joust.mov

I have every plugins package possible (ugly, bad, ffmpeg and good)
Comment 1 Tim-Philipp Müller 2006-02-24 10:07:00 UTC
Do you have the following plugins installed (check with gst-inspect-0.10 <name>)

  - qtdemux
  - ffdec_svq3
  - ffdec_adpcm_ima_qt

?

This file plays fine for me with qtdemux + gst-ffmpeg (all CVS).

Comment 2 Michael Smith 2006-02-24 10:17:05 UTC
Plays for me too (with everything from CVS - note that the original report was about 0.10.2, so maybe this is newly fixed).

However, there is frequent skipping in the audio. FWIW: mplayer has equally frequent bursts of static, which is nastier than silence, so we're doing better than that!
Comment 3 Corey Burger 2006-02-24 18:00:05 UTC
Sadly I don't have the ability to run CVS version, so I trust you if the bug is fixed in CVS.
