Description Amadeus 2006-02-19 16:36:43 UTC
Please describe the problem:
According to the HIG should there be 12 pixels around the contents
of a window.
http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/2.0/design-window.html

James told me, that it probably got lost when the new toolbar layout was implanted.

I have checked the change logs for who that sumitted HIG pathces, but way yo
many have submitted, so finding the person/right patch is "not possible".

It seams that this is not a bug.

If windows that could be maximized had a wide border, it would be "difficult" to quickly move the mouse to the slider.

The way GTK/Metacity works now is that when maximized the window border is stripped when maximized. This gives the possibility for everyone to be satisfied, if your Metacity theme have a window border.

This is why I close this bug as NOTABUG.
