Description Paul Ionescu 2006-02-18 10:31:16 UTC
Please describe the problem:
In the version 2.7.2/2.7.3 of gthumb, when I modify a picture and save it, the
EXIF attributes of the new picture are gone.
In the previous versions of gthumb, they were preserved or modified accordingly.

Steps to reproduce:
1. select a picture with EXIF attributes (for instance a jpeg from a digitall
camera)
2. Crop or Resize it with Image/Crop, Image/Resize
3. Save the picture under a new name
4. Select the new picture and inspect the exif attributes

Actual results:
The EXIF attributes of the new picture are gone.

Expected results:
Preserve or modify the exif attributes in concordance with the new picture.

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
It worked just fine with the previous versions of gthumb.
