Description Thomas Winwood 2006-02-17 22:13:41 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When the song changes and notification popup appears the icon in the bottom left
corner of the popup is partially cut off when the song title is not long enough
to wrap and fill the entire box.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Play a song with a short title in Rhythmbox.
2. Observe the notification popup.

Actual results:
Icon is partially cut off by the bottom of the box.

Expected results:
Icon appears in its entirety.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
Version of Rhythmbox is actually 0.9.3.1, but that's not an option.

I see this too... Perhaps there should be a minimum? Or perhaps notification-daemon should take the icon into account when calculation the height?

FWIW, this was also reported by a few people on ubuntu dapper. See https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/31200 for additional information.
Comment 4 Sebastien Bacher 2006-02-21 09:42:49 UTC
I would say that's a notification-daemon issue and not an app one
Comment 5 Mathieu Pillard 2006-03-04 01:52:42 UTC
This was also reported against libnotify/notification-daemon here: http://trac.galago-project.org/ticket/21
Comment 6 Alex Lancaster 2006-04-14 15:00:42 UTC
Since this looks to be a libnotify problem as described in the upstream, not in rhythmbox, closing as NOTGNOME. Feel free to re-open if turns out to depend on bug in rhythmbox.
