GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 331189
official screenshots for releases
Last modified: 2006-04-14 16:14:49 UTC
The marketing team failed to provide sort of official screenshots of gnome since version 2.10. http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/pub/mirrors/gnome/teams/marketing/en/2004/ It would be really helpful to have a series of up-to-date screenshots e.g. for posters.
Exactly what kind of screenshots do you mean? The release notes always have screenshots.
okay I found that there is one in http://www.gnome.org/start/2.12/notes/en/ but not in http://www.gnome.org/start/2.12/ I've not fllowed the link 'ReleaseNotes' as that implied to get a 'ChangeLog' for me. I'd rather expect to find about 6 different shots, all using a neutral background with e.g. a gnome logo. The can show: * multimedia (e.g. totem) * games * internet (epiphany, evolution) * settings * help (yelp)
There are yet more screenshots on subsequent pages. See also my email today: http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-web-list/2006-February/msg00046.html
Can we agree then that screenshots were provided in the last release, and close this bug as NOTABUG? We can improve their visibility in the next release, though.
aggred. closed bug.
