If I try to configure rausb0, system freezes. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. network-admin 2. configure and activate wireless connection. Actual Results: System crashes Expected Results: After Windows Driver installation (ndiswrapper), default gateway device should be wlan0, activation wireless connection should be possible. How often does this happen? Every time I try to activate proposed wireless connection (rausb0) Additional Information: if I rename /lib/modules/2.6.15-15-386/kernel/drivers/usb/net/rt2570/rt2570.ko everything is fine! ------- Bug created by bug-buddy at 2006-02-13 23:36 -------
Comments from: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gnome-system-tools/+bug/27448 When unplugging a USB network device (using drivers inside ndiswrapper), on plugging the device back in, ndiswrapper/modprobe doesn't update the "network tools" gui... however, typing in WLAN0 or ETH0 in the "name" box, activates the "configure" button, after which you can activate the appropriate network interface...
Seems to be a drivers problem, doesn't have much to do with g-s-t...
