Description Sven Herzberg 2006-02-10 17:06:38 UTC
When implementing the autostart spec from FDo, the priority field got dropped. So I'll propose to add a new X-GNOME-Priority field to the desktop files which contains this information.
Comment 1 Mike Basinger 2006-04-05 20:35:32 UTC
Some programs need to be started after other programs. Please add this.

Comment 3 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2008-04-08 21:21:28 UTC
Is there something big blocking this? I mean, can't the pre-FDo priority code be used and slapped with that X-GNOME-Priority field?
Comment 4 Jeremy Nickurak 2009-03-14 15:55:53 UTC
How does this relate to the major work happening in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=552387 ?
Comment 5 Vincent Untz 2009-03-14 16:04:58 UTC
Jeremy: it's completely orthogonal to bug 552387.
Comment 6 André Klapper 2021-06-14 18:21:04 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of gnome-session, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-session/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
