Description Luca Ferretti 2006-02-09 08:40:52 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Both Logout and Shutdown confirmation alerts are always showed. I suspect we
should allow users to direclty logout is logout_prompt GConf key is false.

Steps to reproduce:
1. set /apps/gnome-session/option/logout_prompt to false
2. Select Desktop -> Logout

Actual results:
The confirmation alert is showed

Expected results:
Direct logout (?)

Does this happen every time?
Of course

Other information:
Could we deprecate the key instead?

Any news here? Confirming every single logout when "Ask on logout" is no set is a major usability bug. IMHO should be marked as blocker for 2.14

This has been fixed sometimes ago.
