GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 329630
Add back suspend to the logout dialog
Last modified: 2015-03-24 13:01:00 UTC
This bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/30280 "If I do System -> Shutdown and I select sleep, it kills X... and put to sleep."
I use this version: ii gnome-panel 2.13.90-0ubuntu1 launcher and docking facility for GNOME 2
I'm removing "Suspend" from there in upstream GNOME: we didn't have it before and we clearly don't want to log out the user. However, I'm not sure we can do something else with GDM. We'll use gnome-power-manager to handle this in the future.
I fixed this a few weeks ago.
