GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 329097
loses connection with CORBA / bonobo?
Last modified: 2014-08-26 19:52:41 UTC
Hi, After some load on my machine (especially when building packages with "pbuilder", which is very disk and CPU intensive and runs as root), the next Galeon window I try to open pops a "Galeon has crashed" recovery dialog. Presumably, the galeon command can not contact the running galeon instance via bonobo as it should, because the connection was broken. This is completely random, and seems to appear only after high load, however I'm not alone since Jacob Sparre Andersen reported the same behavior in Debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/347359. Restarting Galeon fixes the problem. Cheers,
Galeon has not seen any code changes since May 2010: https://git.gnome.org/browse/archive/galeon/log This project is not under active development anymore and got recently archived in GNOME Git. It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality.
