While triaging the bug 
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=328332
I noticed that, while adding a mail ID from the gnome bugzilla 
mail's CC filed to evolution address book, a pipe character gets
added along with mail id.

Looks like a rendering issue.

I observe the same behavior with Novell Bugzilla mails too.

Yet another one of these. There are a bunch of GtkHTML/Rendering bugs filed already, about email addresses and URLS adding invalid chars to the detected link or stopping too early.
