Description Josh Sled 2006-01-19 00:39:00 UTC
See http://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-devel/2006-January/015337.html for more detail. We believe this is a function of auto-scaling fonts and long data-series ledgend labels.

Comment 2 F. Kurz 2006-04-14 17:07:02 UTC
I think the same problem ( or close to it) occurs in the expense/income piecharts and barcharts : the legends use 2/3 of the picture size.

By the way, changing the width/height of the report may not have any effect ( I dont create a new bug because I think both problems are probably related and may have a common source) : Height does something but not width (which could have been useful to move the legends on the right of the report)

problems seen in 1.9.4 ( Native goffice ... No)

I've opened a separate bug on the issue raised by F. Kurz: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=341498
Comment 4 Christian Stimming 2006-05-23 11:15:40 UTC
... but the bug#341498 "display width option ignored" is apparently due to gtkhtml < 3.10.1, so it will be fixed as soon as you upgrade to gtkhtml >= 3.10.1. Just for the record.

We don't use gtkhtml anymore, and webkit doesn't have the problem.
