Description Naoki 2006-01-17 07:11:52 UTC
I'd like to be able to right-click an app name in the panel and have the option
to "Remove", this I would guess could spawn the package management program with
the selected app already check boxed.

The only current alternative for users is to know what the app's RPM package
name is and to remove it manually.

I figure newbies aren't going to know that menu item X
relates to package name "Y".

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all
old feature requests in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you still use gnome-panel and if you are still requesting this feature in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-panel/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be implemented.
