Description Peter Vegh 2006-01-13 12:41:10 UTC
The applet (Applications, Places, System) renders the panel unusable until the
connection is either done or cancelled. If I need to enter a password for an ftp
server, I can't use the panel at all until the password window is closed.
Moreover, until I get this window, the panel hangs aswell (Places menu stays
highlighted), so if connecting takes 5 seconds, I just gotta wait.

Other information:
Ubuntu Breezy, but I've seen pretty much the same in Dapper.
