Description Steve Fox 2006-01-09 22:56:56 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Selecting text from a table and pasting it into gedit puts the first column on a
new line _after_ a line containing the second column.

Some sample output below:

Certain commands have a single record type:
            release
F
            checkout
O

Steps to reproduce:
1. Download the CVS manual from
http://ftp.gnu.org/non-gnu/cvs/source/stable/1.11.21/cederqvist-1.11.21.pdf
2. Go to page 112, section A.12.1 (history options) and scroll to the the "-x
type" record types.
3. Starting at "Certain commands have a single record type:", select the text
down to the end of the page/section.
4. Paste into gedit.

Actual results:
See description above.

Expected results:
The first column should be written first, followed by some whitespace, then the
second column, then a line break.

Does this happen every time?
yes

I swear I updated this bug before, but apparently it didn't make it.

I found a similar bug in the poppler bugzilla, so I will close this one. Thanks
