Description Daniel Holbach 2006-01-09 13:12:33 UTC
Forwarded from: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=346594

Hi,

the new version 2.6.23-1 makes xsltproc (1.1.15-2) bail out on the
attached simple stylesheet and test XML file:
$ xsltproc test.xsl test.xml
Entity: line 1: parser error : internal error

^
test.xsl:20: parser error : internal error
  <xsl:text>&newl;</xsl:text>
                  ^
test.xsl:20: parser error : internal error
  <xsl:text>&newl;</xsl:text>
                  ^
Entity: line 1:

^
test.xsl:20: parser error : Extra content at the end of the document
  <xsl:text>&newl;</xsl:text>
                  ^
cannot parse test.xsl

Downgrading libxml2 to 2.6.22-2 got rid of the error.

Fixed in CVS, side effect of an earlier attempt at fixing bug #319279

  thanks,

Well according to Daniel's comment this was fixed more than a year ago, marking it as fixed. Thanks for your report.
