Description Diego González 2005-12-19 00:23:35 UTC
don't loose the icon

Other information:
if you open a console, write killall -KILL gnome-panel, the panel will be killed
and automatically restarted by gnome-session, the thing is that the tray icon
will never be shown again, but gnome-power-manager is still there.

Other icons like nm-applet, rhythmbox or gossip showup after the panel is
restarted without any problem.

Never noticed this before. I'll debug this and try to fix this this afternoon. Thanks for the report.

Could you try CVS for me please, I've added code for this use-case.
Many thanks, Richard.

This works for me on fc4 and rawhide, so I'm closing the bug.

(Seems fixed even under Debian machines nowadays.)
