This bug has been opened here: https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=20132

"when I chose other directory in the extract dialog I have to double click the
directory in which I want to extract and hit open.
if I just click on the directory and chose open, even if the filed "extract in
folder:" is correctly filled (for example /home/yelo3/Desktop/folder)
file-roller extract files in ../ (in this case /home/yelo3/Desktop)

ubuntu 5.10
file-roller 2.12.1-0ubuntu1"
