Description Amadeus 2005-11-08 07:00:48 UTC
What if the current song info and the duration text were removed and
put in the statusbar?

At startup the statusbar would then read:
Not playing. 1000 songs, 500 minuts, 4000MB.

Filtering is used and a song is playing:
Playing Sandman by Metallica from Black Album at 2:34 of 5:00 5 songs, 15
minuts, 30MB matching metallica.

The above line is rather long, so
"Playing Sandman by Metallica from Black Album at 2:34 of 5:00"

is left aligned, and
"5 songs, 15 minuts, 30MB matching metallica."
is right aligned.

This would work well with the buttons in toolbar Bug #316238 and the No Search
Entry Bug #320937

I don't like this idea, and there doesn't seem to be any kind of reason to do it here.
