GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 319060
Rhythmbox can'T playback my .ogg files and says it is an GStreamer Problem
Last modified: 2006-01-13 11:12:59 UTC
Please describe the problem: I was trying to playback some .ogg files in Rhythmbox (MusicPlayer in Fedora 4) but the player stopped and told me via a message window popping up, that there is a internal problem of the GStreamer lib. so that the playback can not be started. Steps to reproduce: 1. start rhythmbox 2. import an .ogg file 3. click on play to start the playback Actual results: The playback doesn't start because of an internal problem of GStreamer (so the application says ... an i have to believe this for now) Expected results: I hoped to hear my music Does this happen every time? yep Other information:
What kind of internal error does it say? Also, what distribution are you using?
Does it happen with .wav files too? mp3 files?
