Description Joachim Noreiko 2005-10-15 09:17:08 UTC
Version details: 2.12 live CD

I know this isn't strictly a GNOME issue, but I can't find anywhere on the
Creative Commons site to report it, and this error reflects badly on GNOME.

In the video file 'Building_on_the_Past.ogg' in the 'Video and Music from
Creative Commons' folder on the desktop, there is a spelling mistake. At at
0.39, there is a large caption: "let's you build"
This should read "lets you build".

Just not something I'm going to fix. Will take patches, as I'm sure will CC (that would be preferred.)

Any ideas on how to patch this?

Do we know who the creator of the video is?

I've had a thought about this.

Use this problem as an *advantage* to highlight the very thing the video speaks about: instead of trying to neatly change the text, stick a red circle on the incorrect apostrophe and add note to the side of the screen "Lets you correct mistakes!"

If there's such a thing as a video editor that will let me draw in individual frames, I could probably do this.
