GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 318842
Task lists should be sorted
Last modified: 2007-11-05 10:18:57 UTC
This bug has been opened here: http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=17754 "I create three new task lists, called "Calls and Emails", "Waiting for", and "Projects", in that order, and they appear in the left-hand task list pane in the same order in which they were created: 1. Calls and Emails 2. Waiting for 3. Projects I'd much prefer them in sorted order: 1. Calls and Emails 2. Projects 3. Waiting for I'm eventually going to have ten or twelve of these categories, and browsing through an unsorted list that's only ordered by "the order in which I happened to think of these categories" is not ideal. I'd like to be able to sort the list of task lists. Alphabetically (case-insensitive) would be my #1 preference. This isn't anything vital, but I think it would make the user experience just a little nicer."
I think a drag and drog functionality to order the task-list is better than an aflphabetical order. (but alphabetichal order is better tham none :-)

Created attachment 98307 [details] [review] proposed eds patch for evolution-data-server; I'm sorry, I forgot on ESourceComboBox. So here's a patch for both widgets.
Looks fine. Please commit.
