Description Chris Rebert 2005-10-13 20:50:35 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When you try and copy text from an article in straw using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, it
doesn't copy. However, merely selecting the text in the article and then
middle-clicking in Gedit does copy-paste the text successfully. However, this is
a very annoying inconsistency. This may be a bug related to gtkhtml bug 135579
but I'm not sure. Thanks for such a great program!

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open straw
2. Select a subscription
3. Select an article
4. Select some text from the article
5. Press Ctrl+C
6. Open up Gedit or similar
7. Press Ctrl+V

Actual results:
Depending on whether something was copied eariler or not, either nothing or the
the previous clipboard item is pasted.

Expected results:
The article text I selected in straw should be pasted.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

We have a context menu now, but I 100% agree, we need to support Ctrl+C in the article view.
