This bug has been opened here: http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=17532

"The Font Preferences menu item should be called "Fonts" instead of "Font" since
it logically changes more than one font."
Comment 1 Sebastien Bacher 2005-12-30 16:26:45 UTC
Ccing usability. Should the capplet be called Font or Fonts? Some other capplets (ie: theme/themes) are probably in the same case
Comment 2 Calum Benson 2006-01-20 18:41:01 UTC
I think "Font" is correct-- the window is correctly titled "Font Preferences" IIRC, so it seems reasonable that it's opened with the Preferences->Font menu. (The HIG states that dialog titles should be consistent with the menu that opened them.)

If we dropped the word "Preferences" from the window title, then "Fonts" would probably be correct.

Can we close this then?
